CCMI: A JOURNEY TOWARD JUSTICE

A Journey Toward Justice is an ongoing book study led by Centenary Community Ministries in which we read books centered on major themes within the fight toward community justice. To accompany each book, the group will participate in one or several community projects based on the theme studied. Previous topics include food scarcity, environmental justice, and democratic disenfranchisement.

This time, we'll be working to understand the complex system of immigration and detention centers in the United States. We will primarily be reading Maria Hinojosa's "Once I Was You" but other readings will be provided as well for the most comprehensive look at differing perspectives.
